Elysium - Nuova Civiltà Records

Imagine a smoke-choked, subterranean club in 1984, where the dancefloor is packed with sharply dressed youths in oversized trench coats and heavy eyeliner, moving rigidly to a relentless drum machine. This is the visceral energy driving Xylia’s dynamic new double-sided single, pairing Breathless Moments Linger on Side A with A Masquerade on Side B, courtesy of Nuova Civiltà Records’ Elysium sub-label. Xylia captures the high-octane pulse of the era's most forward-thinking dancefloors, merging driving synth-pop urgency with the dark, romantic drama of New Wave and New Romantic subcultures. Edgy electro undercurrents push both tracks forward, creating a hypnotic, relentless momentum designed for strobe lights and dimly lit back alleys. It is vibrant, nocturnal, and fiercely nostalgic-a testament to the enduring power of 80s electronic nocturnal culture brought vividly back to life.
