New Kingdom_Aurora - Nuova Civiltà Records
"A hypnotic descent into shadowy cathedrals, where pulsing rhythms and ancient sacred echoes collide."
The new EP In Momentum by the project The Oracle, released via Nuova Civiltà Records under the New Kingdom sub-label and its Aurora subdivision, stands as a compelling fusion of gothic rock, new wave, and electronic music. The release is anchored by an enveloping, driving bassline locked in a hypnotic loop, seamlessly interwoven with stark, atmospheric guitars and deep synth textures.
Within the broader landscape of alternative music, this intersection of cold electronic pulses and dark wave aesthetics has long served as a conduit for the sacred and the introspective. Merging driving rhythmic frameworks with ritualistic elements creates an immersive bridge between the secular underground and the sublime.
This spiritual resonance finds a profound home within the ethos of the Aurora subdivision, where releases consistently explore deeply Christocentric themes and spiritual yearnings. By weaving ancient, mysterious Gregorian chants and timeless vocal textures into a modern dark-electronic architecture, In Momentum transforms sound into a modern devotional space-a solemn, nocturnal meditation wrapped in shadows and holy awe.
